Suggested Gospel readings for the Daniel summer series
Since there are no designated gospel readings for each week of the Daniel summer sermon series, here are some suggested gospel readings. Some are drawn from Sundays where the Daniel reading appears in the Narrative or Revised Common Lectionaries; some are chosen to relate thematically to the Daniel reading.
- Week 1 – Matthew 24:1-8
- Week 2 – John 18:36-37
- Week 3 – John 4:19-26
- Week 4 – John 12:44-50
- Week 5 – Matthew 12:15-21
